During the examination of the site with earthworks, fragments of molded ceramic vessels from the 6th to 8th centuries were found, as well as other archaeological items.
The fragment of the molded vessel from the 6th to 8th centuries confirmed that people inhabited this area of the right bank of the Southern Bug long before the well-known construction of the 18th-century quarter; the find changed the understanding of the time of settlement of the territory of modern Khmelnytskyi.
