Boombox presents the mini-album "LIVE" in Kyiv
If you want to hear Boombox live and check how the new songs sound in a large concert format, May 17 should be on your agenda. The band will perform in Kyiv with the presentation of the mini-album "LIVE" — the event will start at 5:00 PM.
What is known about the concert
The concert will take place at the Blockbuster Mall in Kyiv, at the address: Stepan Bandera Avenue, 36. For the band, this is a special solo performance in Kyiv: the program is dedicated to the new release, but the organizers also promise to combine fresh material with songs from previous periods of Boombox's creativity.
Judging by the program description, this will not be a presentation "only for those who have already learned the mini-album." The setlist is expected to include new compositions, well-known songs of the band, rock-n-roll material, and acoustic numbers. So the concert may appeal to both long-time listeners and those who simply want to spend an evening with live Ukrainian music.
Is it worth going
Yes, if you care about not only new tracks but also the atmosphere of a large Boombox performance. An additional date on May 17 was announced after the first concert sold out quickly, so interest in the event is clearly high. This is a good option for those who have been waiting for the band's solo concert in Kyiv for a long time.
At the same time, it is worth considering the scale of the venue: this is an event at a shopping mall, not an intimate club night. If you enjoy familiar songs being played alongside new material in front of a large audience, this format should suit you. But if you are looking for a quiet acoustic concert, it's better to prepare for a mixed program with varying dynamics.
